City Clerk


Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12 (b)(2), (e) and Sec. 3.02 of the Charlotte Charter, the Mayor has called a special meeting of the Charlotte City Council for Monday, August 15, 2022 at 3:30 p.m., to be held as a remote meeting in accordance with the electronic meetings statute, including applicable requirements for meetings held pursuant to G.S. 166A-19.24 (remote meetings during declarations of emergency). The requirements of notice, access, and minutes will be met through electronic means. The purpose of these meetings is to conduct closed sessions to discuss personnel matters pursuant to G.S. 143-318.ll(a)(6).


Members of the public who would like to sign up to speak during the Zoning Meeting can complete the Online Speaker Sign Up Form or call the City Clerk's Office at 704-336-2248. The deadline for speakers who would like to participate virtually is Monday, August 15, 2022 at 9:00 am. Speakers who plan to speak in-person are encouraged to complete the online form by 4:00 p.m. or can sign up to speak with the City Clerk at the meeting prior to the start of the agenda item. Alternatively, written comments of 350 words or less on an agenda item may be submitted to the City Clerk's Office at between the publication of this notice and 24 hours prior to the scheduled time for the beginning of the agenda item.
