What to Expect During Construction

Construction can be loud, dirty and inconvenient. Crews will reduce disruptions where possible.

  • CLTWater works with municipal partners to minimize impacts (detours, garbage collection, etc) on customers.
  • Pipe is delivered and stored on construction easements and/or the road right-of-way. It is common to see several pipes along the side of a street.
  • Driveway access may be limited at times. If you need assistance, please talk to the contractor or call the project inspector.
  • Customers will be notified in advance of planned service outages. There should be no unplanned outages. Any unplanned outage will be considered an emergency.
  • Several dump trucks will travel along the alignment.
  • Residents will maintain their regular schedule for trash and recycling pick up. The construction inspector will ensure that construction activities do not disrupt trash collection.
