Latest Design Manual

New Design Manual 2025

The latest Revision 1 of the Water and Sewer Design and Construction Standards (a.k.a. "Design Manual") has now been released and available for use here. This supersedes and takes precedence over all previous versions.

Revision 1 will show a "January 2025" date in all text chapter footers.

The standard detail dates only change when new versions are released. The version is shown in the detail footer note.

The New Design Manual may be used immediately and will be fully enforced for all new projects beginning February 1st, 2025.

A revision log of changes from the initial release is posted below.

The New Design Manual is available to download in its entirety as one large pdf, or by each chapter's subchapter.

Larger chapters like Water (chapter 10) and Gravity Sewer (Chapter 11) have a "Design", "Specifications" and "Details" subchapters. The detail drawings are available by chapter as one pdf - or individually. A list showing the old legacy versus new detail numbers is provided where applicable.
