System Development Fees for City of Charlotte, NC
Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 162A, Article 8, the City of Charlotte engaged a consultant in the analysis of Charlotte Water’s system development fees. The resulting System Development Fee Analysis was completed on February 7, 2025, and made available for public comment on March 24, 2025. Please see the link below for the analysis. Comments related to the analysis can be emailed to SDFComments@charlottenc.gov. The City Council will conduct a public hearing on the City of Charlotte’s FY 2026 Budget on May 12, 2025. Any changes to system development fees will be considered at the public hearing.
