The City of Charlotte has more than 30 boards and commissions. Citizens who live in Mecklenburg County can volunteer to participate by applying for a vacancy.
Application for special events, parades and festivals
Outdoor events require a permit from the Charlotte Department of Transportation for use of public property and/or closure of all or portions of one or more public streets.
