The Subdivision Administration Team works with citizens, the development community, and all interested stakeholders to promote the orderly development of Charlotte and its Sphere of Influence.

Effective April 1, 2014, the City of Charlotte, Planning Department will require Electronic Plan (EPLAN) submittals for all subdivision reviews.
Accela EDR (Electronic Document Review) will streamline, the plan submission, review, tracking and approval processes. This web based solution supports a greener environment, reduced printer/courier costs and affords greater flexibility to our customers. Submit and track permits 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
