Transit Service Advisory Committee to Convene for Special Meeting
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is announcing that the Transit Service Advisory Committee (TSAC) is scheduled to meet on Thursday, July 14, at 4 p.m. This meeting was previously canceled, but will resume as a special meeting, as requested by the committee chair.
All TSAC meetings are open to the public and can be accessed virtually via Teams.
TSAC consists of CATS riders that are appointed by the City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County and the six towns, including Huntersville, Matthews, Cornelius, Davidson, Pineville and Mint Hill.
The committee focuses on day-to-day operations of service to ensure that it meets the needs of the community. TSAC makes recommendations to the Metropolitan Transit Committee on issues within its sphere of interest and acts as a vehicle to promote public involvement in short-term transit planning.
