Throughout the study, staff will work with community members to identify six high frequency corridors for improvements and establish an implementation plan. Following the study, CATS will present the findings to the Metropolitan Transit Commission (MTC) for adoption.
Possible improvements may include:
-
Dedicated bus-only lanes and
shared bus/bike lanes
-
Traffic signal prioritization and
queue-jumps
-
Bus stop amenities including shelters, real-time arrival information, and off-board fare payment
- Bus stop design improvements to ensure that stops are accessible for all users
-
Mobility Hubs, or enhanced transit stops, to improve transfer connections between buses and other modes of travel, including ride share programs (Lyft & Uber) and bicycles
Community members can provide feedback in a variety of ways.
