Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 80-year-old Jerry Dean Snider.

Charlotte, N.C. – (Thursday, December 1, 2022) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's Missing Person Unit are requesting the public's assistance in locating 80-year-old Jerry Dean Snider.

 

Mr. Snider was last seen leaving his Charlotte home around 3:00 pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in his silver 2016 GMC Acadia (NC tag FCE-1974).

 

Mr. Snider's vehicle has several license plate reader hits in the east Charlotte area since that time, mostly along the Central Avenue corridor.

 

Mr. Snider is a white male, around 5'7 tall and 165 pounds. He is bald and has hazel eyes. He is believed to be wearing a green plaid jacket and tan pants.

 

A North Carolina Silver Alert is in the process of being completed.

 

Anyone with information on Mr. Snider's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
