Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation---August 3, 2021

​Charlotte, N.C. – (Tuesday, August 3, 2021) – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Missing Person Unit, is requesting the public's assistance finding 16-year-old Scot Stines.
Mr. Stines was last seen on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, around 6:39 p.m., in the 200 block of Hawthorne Lane Mr. Stines was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes, and a blue shirt with the word" Victory" written in white letters. Mr. Stines suffers from behavioral health issues and is currently under the custody of the Madison County Social Services Department. Mr. Stines is believed to be on foot.

Anyone who sees or has information about Mr. Stines is asked to call 911 immediately.
