CATS, Arts+ Launch Ride with the Music Concert Series
Live Music at CATS Locations Throughout October
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Today, the Charlotte Area Transit System, in partnership with Arts+ launched Ride with the Music. This free concert series will bring live music to various CATS locations on Thursday evenings in October.
"We are continuing to provide essential transit services to many of our community's front-line workers," said CATS CEO John Lewis. "Through our partnership with Arts+, we hope to provide entertainment and inspiration to our community during these uncertain times."
Ride with the Music will highlight local performers across a variety of musical genres. Today's inaugural concert featured musicians Troy Conn and Dave Vergato that performed a duet on guitar and double bass.
"Arts+ has been in conversation with CATS for quite some time on how we could partner. We are thrilled that we can provide music for the enjoyment of Charlotte commuters. We look forward to continuing this partnership and finding new ways to provide an exceptional music experience for the Charlotte community," said Devlin McNeil, President and Executive Director of Arts+.

CATS Customer Service staff will distribute free cloth face coverings at all Ride with the Music concerts.
