***UPDATE*** Freedom Division - Homicide in the 3000 block of Forestbrook Drive

Case Update: Friday, January 18, 2019

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department homicide detectives have charged Stacey Amanda Bell, DOB: 09/03/1990, Robert Jamar Brewer, DOB: 12/11/1990, Earl Tieren Jackson, DOB: 01/11/1989, and Kaila Robinson, DOB: 11/20/2000, with the murder of Jermaine Moore.

During the course of their investigation, Homicide Detectives identified Bell, Brewer, Jackson and Robinson as suspects in this case and obtained warrants for their arrest.  On January 17, 2019,  Kaila Robinson was arrested by members from the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.  Earlier this morning, VCAT located and arrested Bell, Brewer and Jackson without incident and transported them to police headquarters where they were interviewed by homicide detectives. At the conclusion of the interviews, all four suspects will be charged with 1st degree Murder, Armed Robbery, and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery and will be turned over to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.

The victim in this case has been identified as Jermaine Moore, DOB: 04/20/1980His family has been notified of his death.

Saturday, January 12, 2019

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's Homicide Unit are conducting a homicide investigation in the 3000 block of Forestbrook Drive in the Freedom Division.  The call for service came in at 5:40 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Freedom Division patrol officers responded to an assist medic call for service.  Upon arrival, officers located a male inside the residence and he was pronounced deceased on scene by Medic.

Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence.  Representatives of the Mecklenburg County District Attorney's Homicide Prosecution Team, Victim Services and Operations Command responded to the scene.
