On Friday, September 17, 2021, at 10:01 a.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle collision with injury at the intersection of W. Sugar Creek Road and Reagan Drive. Members of the Charlotte Fire Department and Medic also responded to the scene as well due to injuries.  When officers arrived, they located a red 2005 Freightliner Truck in the roadway.  The driver of the Freightliner was located on the scene of the crash with no injuries.  Further behind the truck, they located a bicycle and person in the roadway with serious injuries.  Upon Medic's arrival, the bicyclist, identified as Miguel Luna Aguilar, DOB: 05/23/1965, was transported to Atrium Health Main by MEDIC.
