City of Charlotte operates on normal schedule, continues to prepare for weather
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 15, 2016)- The City of Charlotte will operate on a normal schedule Monday while continuing to monitor inclement weather conditions. Please see below for the latest information.
Charlotte Douglas International Airport
- CLT Airport is working closely with airline partners. Travelers are asked to check in with their airline before leaving for the airport.
Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS)
- All park and ride locations, as well as LYNX station platforms, have been treated for potential icing conditions and will continue to be monitored.
- Should weather conditions change, service impacts will be posted to CATS website www.ridetransit.org.
Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT)
- Street maintenance crews are on standby and treating trouble spots.
The community should report icy road conditions by calling CharMeck 311 (dial 311 or 704-336-7600 if you are outside Mecklenburg County.) Reports of routine icing on city streets can be called in to 704-336-3200. Actual emergencies and accidents should be called in to 911.
