City of Charlotte offices closed for Veterans Day

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Nov. 8, 2018) – City of Charlotte offices will close Monday, Nov. 12, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.

City services will return to regular operating hours on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will operate buses, trains and the CityLynx Gold Line streetcar according to regular schedules. The CATS Pass Sales & Information Office and Call Center will be closed.

Charlotte Solid Waste Services will be operating on standard business hours, with curbside collection continuing as scheduled.

Outside of standard business hours (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.), CharMeck 311 callers can report water, sewer, stormwater and animal issues through an automated service that dispatches assistance. If you are calling from outside Mecklenburg County or if your cellular carrier will not connect you to 311, dial 704-336-7600.

City service requests can be made online, 24/7.

Please call 911 in the case of an immediate emergency.
