CHARLOTTE,
N.C. (Nov. 27, 2017) – At Monday night’s business meeting, the Charlotte
City Council moved forward with upgrades to the Spectrum Center and the
scheduled performance review of the city manager.
Spectrum Center upgrades
The city approved $475,000 for capital repairs and
improvements to the Spectrum Center. The facility will repair its plumbing
system and modify a large restaurant space to make it more accessible.
The
renovations will be completed over the next two years.
City
Manager annual review completed
The
City Council reviewed the annual performance of City Manager Marcus D. Jones.
His new annual salary will be $318,000.
Jones
started with the City of Charlotte on Dec. 1, 2016.
