CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 30, 2018) — The Charlotte Department of Transportation and the North Carolina Department of Transportation are preparing for ice, snow and winter weather. The media is invited to see firsthand what it takes to get crews and equipment ready.

When: Thursday, November 1, 9 a.m.
Where: CDOT Street Maintenance Northwest District Yard
4411 Northpointe Industrial Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28216
Who: Charlotte Department of Transportation and North Carolina Department of Transportation
Demonstrations: 9:45 a.m. (immediately after news conference)
Street Maintenance crews will demonstrate loading spreaders on salt trucks, installing plows on trucks and performing safety checks at the Northpointe facility.
