CMPD Releases Audio Recordings of Officer-Involved Shooting Death of Rueben Galindo



CMPD is releasing approximately 58 minutes of audio recordings of the 911 calls and police radio traffic related to the officer involved shooting death of Rueben Galindo. Some of the recordings are in Spanish, some are in English and some include both languages.

The 911 recordings have been edited, as required by state statute, to change each caller’s voice and remove personal information such as name, address and telephone number. The radio traffic recordings have been edited, as necessary, to remove any name, address, or phone number related to this case and radio traffic about unrelated calls occurring on the same radio channel.
