FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – January 3, 2018
The Charlotte Department of Transportation’s Street Maintenance Division (SMD) crews started brine operations to treat bridges and culverts this afternoon. Staff will continue to monitor conditions with crews ready to respond if road conditions change overnight.
Citizens should report icy road conditions by calling CharMeck 311. Actual emergencies and accidents should be called in to 911.
