CATS to Extend LYNX Blue Line Repairs
Charlotte, N.C. – On Saturday, June 18, 2022, maintenance crews began work on repairs to Park Avenue’s grade crossing, due to a rescheduled delivery of supplies, this work will continue into Monday evening. During these ongoing repairs Blue Line trains will operate from I-485 to New Bern station and from UNCC to Carson station. To travel between New Bern and Carson stations, CATS has implemented a northbound and southbound “LYNX Connector” bus bridge. Normal service is expected to resume on the morning of Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
