CATS Announces June Service Changes

Starting Monday, June 6, Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will adjust several routes to increase rider access and safety.

Route 17 will be re-routed to provide service along Windsor Square Drive and Northeast Parkway. Service along Independence Boulevard between Windsor Square Drive and Sam Newell Road will be discontinued.

Riders who normally board at the bus stop along Independence Boulevard can use the new stops along Windsor Square Drive or Northeast Parkway. These stop adjustments allows for safer travel for passengers and better access to housing and retail locations that Route 17 services.
