As part of the
assessment taking place November 2-4, 2020, department personnel and members of the community are invited to offer comments relating to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s ability to comply with the standards for accreditation at a virtual public input session on
Monday, November 2nd, 2020
The phone-in session is on Monday, November 2nd, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. (EST). The public may call 704-432-6297 to offer comments directly to the Assessment Team. All calls are unscreened and unrecorded.
The public input session is on Monday, November 2nd., 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. (EST). Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the public input session will be conducted virtually via Webex. To join the meeting from a computer, tablet or smartphone; use the following link WEBEX. Those without Webex access wishing to participate may do so at their local Mecklenburg County Library or join the meeting by phone, (dial 1 (855) 244-8681 and use access code: 172-385-3387).
The session will conclude when there are no more speakers. Public input session and telephone comments are limited to five minutes and must address the Department’s ability to comply with CALEA’s standards.
