Meet your neighbors and local police officers at a National Night Out event near you.

On Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019 more than 70 neighborhoods across the city will host cookouts, porch sit-ins, ice cream socials and many other events during this year's National Night Out.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

In observation of National Night Out, please leave your porch light on from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A lit porch light is a symbol of awareness and makes your neighbors and friends feel welcome.
