2040 Plan public hearing

Charlotte, N.C. (March 18, 2021) – The City of Charlotte invites residents to speak about the draft Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan on Monday, March 22 during a public comment session for the plan.

The session will take place during the Charlotte City Council business meeting. The meeting will start at 5 p.m.

Residents interested in speaking can sign up online by going to charlottenc.gov/cityclerk or calling the City Clerk’s Office at 704.336.2248. The deadline to sign up is 9 a.m. on Monday.

During the public comment session, speakers will have up to two minutes to speak.

Residents should email cityclerk@charlottenc.gov or call 704.336.2248 if they have questions.

The draft plan is available online at cltfuture2040.com. Hard copies of the plan document will be available on Friday at the following locations:
