The Citizens Review Board is a citizen oversight advisory committee that reviews appeals by citizens who file complaints on dispositions imposed by the Chief of Police or his designee relating to allegations of misconduct against a sworn police officer. The Board may hear complaints of officer misconduct that fall into (5) categories: use of force, arrest, search and seizure, conduct unbecoming, arbitrary profiling and discharge of a firearm by an officer which results in the death or injury of a person.
