QC Fest

Mark your calendar for QC Fest! Bring a lawn chair and join us on Saturday, Aug. 14, from noon to 6 p.m. at Northwest School of the Arts.

QC Fest is a community festival launching the new community safety and violence interruption program. Alternatives to Violence. Residents will be able to meet members of the Alternatives to Violence team and hear about program goals. The festival is free and open to the public and will include activities for all ages: performances, food, games, community resources and local vendors.



Vendors Needed

The city invites local vendors to apply for a vending opportunity at this year's QC Fest Vendor Showcase. Vendor categories include jewelry; apparel; painting and arts and crafts; funnel cakes; fragrance and essential oils; and hair, body and beauty products.

Applications will be reviewed and selected on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to apply is July 30.

Selected vendors will pay a fee of $25 to set up their products. All fees will be donated to the Alternatives to Violence program. Vendors will be provided with a table and two chairs. If interested, please apply below.




Call for Talent

Do you have a talent you would like to showcase at QC Fest? The city is accepting applications for a variety of acts ranging from poetry, kid acts, dancing, stepping, singing and more. If interested, please apply below.

Applications will be reviewed and selected on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to apply is July 30.

Join us on Saturday, Aug. 14, from noon to 6 p.m. at Northwest School of the Arts.

Limited parking will be available on Celia Avenue (use second entrance). A shuttle will be available. To ride the shuttle, park at Food Lion (2123 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216). The shuttle will be available throughout the entire event.
