Suspect Arrested After Shooting at CMPD Officers

Charlotte, N.C. – (Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025) – On Tuesday, Sept. 2, shortly after 10:30 p.m., Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) officers responded to a Shots Fired call for service in the 8400 block of North Tryon Street in the University Division.
