Assault with a Deadly Weapon Investigation in the Metro Division

Charlotte, N.C. – (Saturday, June 24, 2023) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Metro Division are conducting an assault with a deadly weapon investigation in the 2300 block of North Graham Street.

On Saturday, June 24, around 4:00 a.m., officers received an Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Injury call for service. Upon arrival, officers discovered three male victims with gunshot wounds. All three victims were transported to the hospital with two victims sustaining serious injuries.

Metro Division detectives along with Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence. Representatives from CMPD’s Operations Command, Victim Services, and MEDIC also assisted.

The investigation into this case is active and ongoing. As additional information develops, it will be released by the CMPD’s Public Affairs Office.
