Charlotte, N.C. - (Friday, November 3, 2023) – Mrs. Denyse Hicks Ray has been located unharmed and has been reunited with family.

Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 68-year-old Denyse Hicks Ray.

Mrs. Ray was last seen by family at the bus stop in the 6800 block of Northlake Mall Drive on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at approximately 9:30 a.m. Mrs. Ray frequently uses city bus transportation.  Mrs. Ray was last seen wearing joggers, with a cream-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue tennis shoes and a blue head wrap. 

Mrs. Ray is suffering from a cognitive impairment and a Missing and Endangered Alert has been issued.

Anyone with information on Mr. Rays’ whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
