Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Update: Mr. Keith Broom has been located unharmed and has been reunited with his family.
Charlotte, N.C. – (Thursday, October 10, 2024) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Keith Broom, 71.
On Thursday, October 10, 2024, at approximately 10 a.m., Mr. Broom was last seen leaving his residence in the 300 block of Wrayhill Drive in his 2020 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck (black) with North Carolina (NC) license plate number HHB-7305. Mr. Broom has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment and may be lost or confused.
Mr. Broom was last seen wearing a tan hat, olive green jacket, a blue and white checkered dress shirt, a dark colored belt and khaki pants.
Detectives are issuing an endangered person alert for Mr. Broom.
Anyone with information about Mr. Broom’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
