Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Charlotte, N.C. – (Monday, September 2, 2024) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 95-year-old Henderson Jackson Jr.
Mr. Jackson was last seen on September 1, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m., at his residence located in the 400 Block of Branchview Drive, Charlotte. Mr. Jackson is believed to be operating his 2009 Black Volvo V70 with North Carolina disability placard HD7715J. Mr. Jackson’s vehicle was spotted on a Flock camera in Norwood, North Carolina at 2:28pm this afternoon. Mr. Jackson is believed to be wearing khaki pants, a baseball cap and black sneakers.
Mr. Jackson has been diagnosed with Dementia, and a Missing and Endangered Alert has been issued.
Anyone with information on Mr. Jackson’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
