Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Charlotte, N.C. – (Wednesday, December 27, 2023) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 36-year-old Cedric Watts.

Watts was last seen at his family’s residence in the 800 block of Villa Court in Charlotte on December 20, 2023. He was last seen leaving that area in a Lyft rideshare.

Based on recent events and circumstances, Watts’ family is concerned for his well-being. Watts was last seen wearing a black and blue hoodie and black and grey sweatpants.

Anyone with information on Watts’ whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
