Update: Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Update: Ms. Beryl Faye Perkins returned unharmed this morning. The silver alert is being cancelled.
Charlotte, N.C. – (Tuesday, May 30, 2023) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 72-year-old Beryl Faye Perkins.
The missing person call for service came in at 8:27 a.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023. Ms. Perkins was last seen in her vehicle leaving the area of Andover Creek Drive around 5:00 p.m. Ms. Perkins is currently operating a silver 2014 Buick Verano with NC License Tag number: SEED633. Ms. Perkins was last seen wearing a pink shirt and jeans.
Ms. Perkins suffers from cognitive concerns and a Silver Alert has been issued to assist in locating her.
