Public Notice: Exchange of Bell 407 GXi Helicopter to Bell Textron Inc

Notice is hereby given pursuant to N.C.G.S. 160A-271 that the City of Charlotte has personal property which it intends to exchange for value towards a new helicopter:

The City of Charlotte owns one helicopter that will be exchanged at a value of $1,375,000   to purchase a new helicopter with a market value of $6,629,860.50 (Total cost to City of $5,254,860.50)  by private negotiation pursuant to North Carolina law.

The City will consider the Resolution to exchange the helicopter to Bell Textron Inc. at the Charlotte City Council Meeting to be held in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, North Carolina at 5 p.m. on July 10, 2023.
