The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department wants to thank the public for their assistance. The missing person was located after asking for assistance.  He was evaluated by MEDIC but was otherwise unharmed.

Public's Assistance Requested in Missing Person Investigation

Charlotte, N.C. – (Sunday, January 19, 2025) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 68-year-old Keith Redman Gardner.

Mr. Gardner was last seen on January 19, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., at his residence located in the 6600 block of Glenmoor Drive, Charlotte. Mr. Gardner is believed to be on foot. Mr. Gardner is believed to be wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark pants and brown boots.   

Mr. Gardner has been diagnosed with dementia.

Anyone with information on Mr. Gardner’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
