Death Investigation in the Westover Division

Charlotte, N.C. – (Wednesday, December 27, 2023) – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are conducting a death investigation in the 300 block of Green Needles Court in the Westover Division.

During the early afternoon hours of Wednesday, December 27, 2023, Missing Person Unit detectives responded to Green Needles Court in an attempt to locate a missing person. Upon arrival, detectives located two victims deceased. Missing Person Unit detectives then requested for CMPD’s Homicide Unit to respond.

The initial investigation has revealed that no foul play is suspected in the deaths. Currently, the victims’ identification is being withheld pending a next of kin notification.

The investigation into this case is active and ongoing. As additional information develops, it will be released by the CMPD’s Public Affairs Office.
