DNA Evidence Results Released to Public in Cold Case Murder

Charlotte, N.C. – (Sunday, December 31, 2023) – Today, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) publicly released all completed DNA evidence results in a 33-year-old cold case murder investigation following a judge’s order.

Kim Thomas (DOB 06/08/1958) was found murdered inside her home in the Cotswold neighborhood on July 27, 1990.
