On June 13, shortly after 11:00 a.m., officers in the Freedom Division responded to the 6400 block Old Mt. Holly Road for another Assault with a Deadly Weapon call for service. Officers began working with the information on the suspect and found his last known address, but the suspect was not home.

While still working leads from the prior assaults, Freedom Division officers received another Assault with a Deadly Weapon call for service at Freedom Drive and Interstate I-85. A female victim had been stabbed on a CATS bus and the suspect description matched from the two previous cases.
