Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Homicide Unit are conducting a homicide investigation in the 4500 block of Tanager Park Drive in the North Division.

Charlotte, N.C. – (Tuesday, December 17, 2024) – As a result of this continued investigation, detectives with Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department’s (CMPD) Violent Crime Apprehension Team (VCAT) identified Marquell Pettiford, 28, as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest.
