The City of Charlotte is committed to making our services and programs accessible to all. Upon request, auxiliary aids, written materials in alternative formats, language access and other reasonable accommodations or modifications will be provided. To make a request, please email CMPD Public Records.

The Police Records Division, located at Police Headquarters, 601 E. Trade Street, handles public requests for reports. Crime Reports are available at no charge either by LexisNexis Crime Incident Reporting or in person. Crash Reports are free of charge if you visit any division office or Police Headquarters counters and cost $6.00 if you would like to access it through the LexisNexis Accident Reporting system.
