Placemaking Artists

Since 2018, the Placemaking Program has maintained a Local Artist Pool for city-led and community-led placemaking work. The City of Charlotte worked with the Arts and Science Council (ASC) to advertise a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify interested artists to put their stamp on the Queen City.

We are excited to re-open our pool for 2020. Please see the link to the RFQ on the right to apply to be a member of our 2020 Placemaking Program Artist Pool. If you are an artist who has applied and been part of the artist pool in the past, please reapply.
