New Mobile Ticketing App! – Now with Real-Time Bus Tracking

If you currently have funds in your cash wallet, tokens up to the value of the remaining cash in your mobile wallet, will be provided. Customers can visit the CATS Customer Service Pass Sales booth at the Charlotte Transportation Center for exchanges.

Exchanges will be made through October 31, 2021. No cash refunds will be issued. Tokens can be used in both CATS fareboxes and ticket vending machines as payment for fare.

Exchanges for unused tickets in your ticket manager, will be exchanged for tokens or fare media, through October 31, 2021.

What will be exchanged:

  • Unused one ride ticket – 1 token for each unused ticket
  • Unused one day ticket – 3 tokens or option of printed one day pass
  • Unused weekly ticket – 7-day punch pass

​Customers will need to verify their mobile account, by providing their Name, Phone Number, and 7-digit User ID.

Customers will also need to complete a CATS Pass Exchange form, agreeing to the exchange of unused passes and/or remaining balance for tokens.

CATS Pass Exchange Form

​Yes. Existing and new customers can download the app now from the Apple and Google Play stores by searching “CATS-Pass” (including the hyphen). The previous CATS Pass app has been de-activated. Customers will be required to re-register by creating a new account with their name, zip code and email.

Download the new CATS-Pass app and create an account. Be sure to look for CATS-Pass, with a hyphen between the words CATS and Pass.
