The planned fare study public meetings scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 3 at the Renaissance West Community Initiative (John T. Crawford Inspiration Room) and Wednesday, Feb. 4 at the Valerie C. Woodard Center have been postponed due to road conditions.
Due to continued hazardous road conditions across the Charlotte region, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will delay the start of bus and Blue Line service on Monday, Feb. 2 until Noon. Bus service will be operating on detours.

Due to hazardous winter weather conditions across the Charlotte region, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will suspend bus service at 3 p.m. and Blue Line service at 5 p.m. today, Saturday, Jan. 31. The last Blue Line train will leave I-485 Station at 4:30 p.m. and UNC Charlotte Station at 5 p.m. The final bus routes will depart the CTC at 3 p.m.

Due to anticipated weather conditions this weekend, CATS will operate on a Sunday schedule tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 31, for bus and Blue Line. Gold Line service will be suspended.

CATS will return to a normal operating schedule for all services on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. While service is resuming as scheduled, CATS urges riders to remain cautious.
