There is a new way to park in Charlotte. With reverse angle parking (RAP) or back-in parking, you will back into a space so that the front of your car is facing the street. This method has been used across the country. You will see reverse angle parking on Commonwealth Avenue between Pecan Street and The Plaza and on Ridge Road in Prosperity Village.
