Carolina CarShare
Carolina Carshare is a membership-based carsharing service providing 24/7 access to all-electric vehicles on an hourly basis. As a member, you can book a car to do errands around the Queen City, grab groceries, drive to a job interview, pick up kids from day care and more!
Drive electric, share electric
Electric cars drive much like traditional cars. The pedals, steering wheel and controls are the same, but they are fueled by electricity instead of gas. They charge through a plug, just like your phone.
Carolina Carshare members must be 21 or older with a valid US driver's license. To be approved as a Carolina Carshare member, you must have no major accidents, mo major moving violations, no DUIs, and no more than two minor traffic violations in the last three years.

How much does it cost?
Every member who signs up will get a $20 driving credit that will be applied to their first reservation. Members who take our feedback survey after their first trip will get another $20 credit. This credit will be awarded once per member after the first trip. If you refer another member to join GoForth, you will receive a $20 credit.
How does the application process work?
Download the MDO Carshare app on Apple or Google Play, create an account, and enter the requested information. After paying a one-time $10-$20 processing fee depending on the network, either an acceptance or rejection email will be sent within 3-5 business days of the initial sign up. If the applicant is approved, a follow-up email will be sent to coordinate scheduling a 15-20 minute over-the-phone orientation. After the orientation, the application process is complete, and you can make your first reservation.
How long can I make a reservation for?
Reservations can be between one hour and 24 hours long.
What is included?
Insurance, vehicle maintenance and roadside assistance are all included in the hourly and daily rates. In the event of an accident, you are responsible for a $500 deductible. You will be fully responsible for the cost of any third-party claims in the event that MDO's third-party insurance coverage is invalidated due to your failure to follow procedure.
