Overview

The Westbourne Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 72 acres, the project will replace aging infrastructure and provide adequate system capacity. The project area is bordered by Pleasant Grove Road to the north, Bellhaven Boulevard to the south, Brookshire Boulevard to the east and McClure Circle to the west.

Project update

  • Storm drainage improvements at Falconhurst Drive and Westbourne Drive are now complete.
  • Storm drainage and stream improvements are underway at Balfour Lane.
  • Storm drainage pipe installation on Ravenwood Road is anticipated to start late September 2024.
  • Additional road closures are planned for Ravenwood Road and Balfour Lane (near Larkhaven Road).
             

Estimated Cost: $3,300,000*

*includes all costs associated with this project such as planning and design, utility relocation, consultant fees, permits, construction, and landscaping.
