 Project updates

The project is intended to improve access and visibility for Martin Luther King Park and Mecklenburg County’s Stewart Creek Greenway and also to encourage private development along Rozzelles Ferry Road, the Yellowstone Drive street connectivity project, the businesses along Rozzelles Ferry Road and the business park on the Yellowstone Drive. Included in this project will be a new roadway, street resurfacing, bridge, sidewalks and pedestrian lighthing from Rozzelles Ferry Road and the Yellowstone Drive intersection to the Yellowstone Drive and Coronet Way intersection.

A water pipe rehabilitation project funded by Charlotte Water and the future Stewart Creek Greenway connects to both sides of the new roadway in order to allow pedestrians to cross the street and travel down Rozzelles Ferry Road.
