 Project updates

The project is intended to improve access and visibility for Martin Luther King Park and Mecklenburg County’s future Stewart Creek Greenway and also to encourage private development along Rozzelles Ferry Road, the Yellowstone Avenue and Zebulon Drive street connectivity project, the businesses along Rozzelles Ferry Road and the business park on Zebulon Avenue. Included in this project will be a new roadway, street resurfacing, bridge, sidewalks and pedestrian lighthing from Rozzelles Ferry Road and the Zebulon Avenue intersection to the Yellowstone Drive and Coronet Way intersection.

A water pipe rehabilitation project funded by Charlotte Water and the future Stewart Creek Greenway will connect to both sides of the new roadway in order to allow pedestrians to cross the street and travel down Rozzelles Ferry Road.
