  • To enhance connectivity by continuing to provide access to the surrounding facilities

  • To fulfill the City of Charlotte's sidewalk retrofit policy

  • To provide a safe, connected and comfortable pedestrian system to improve the quality of life for residents, businesses and visitors

The project team met with the community on February 21, 2017 at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church on Providence Road to discuss the proposed sidewalk, share conceptual drawings and get feedback from the community. Another public meeting will take place on May 1, 2018 at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. See the Citywide Events Calendar for details.
