 Project updates

​​This project will provide various infrastructure improvements (sidewalk, curb and gutter, repair storm drainage, etc.) in the Hope Valley/Oak Forest neighborhood. The project limits include both sides of Milton Road up to Tipperary Place on the west and the railway lines on the south. The north boundary is the rear property line of Belle Plaine Drive and the east boundary is Meadowcliff and Barrington.  

  • ​To maintain, stabilize and revitalize the neighborhood through comprehensive infrastructure improvements

  • To strengthen the neighborhood and surrounding community 

​Two community​ workshops were held during the planning phase in 2009 to get residents' input on the project's design and features. View the public involvement brochure (PDF) that summarizes the feedback received from these meetings and how they shaped the design.

​​​Please note this is the funding amount and includes all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
